Larry and Marian Barker (at left) started the day two strokes off the lead in the Bogey Buster Tournament Championship Flight, but in one hole, they made up those two strokes and rode hot putters to a three-stroke win Sunday. The couple shot a 60, five better than their opening-day 65 and one above than their best-ever scramble score of 59. Steve Locke and Barbara Hardin, who held the lead with an opening 63 Saturday, shot a 65 to finish second. Dennis and Lettia Collins were third, another stroke back. “We made a lot more putts than yesterday,” said Marian. “We also had shorter putts, so we were hitting the ball better.” The Barkers started on the par-5 first hole and were on the green in two. Each team got a free putt and they took it there for an eagle to tie for the lead.
